MAISHI supplies filter mesh rolls for pyramid (triangle) tea bags. The string and your printed tag are already attached, so you load the roll on your tea bag machine, fill, cut, seal and pack.

Roll width is the slit width of the mesh. Tag pitch is the distance from one tag to the next, which sets the length of each bag.
Roll widths and tag pitches
The industry works with a few standard sizes, and filter rolls and packing machines are made to match. Non-standard sizes are rare.

PLA (corn fiber)
Biodegradable PLA mesh made from plant-based polylactic acid. The premium option for brands that want a plastic-free story.

Clear, strong nylon mesh that shows the whole tea leaves inside the pyramid. The most widely used material because of its value for money.

Polyester (PET) mesh with a transparent, even weave, used as an alternative to nylon for pyramid tea bags.
